Kelvin Washington Delivers Best Performance of Season
Kelvin Washington produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Longview to the win on Friday. Washington rushed for 381 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 15.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 110 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Washington has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 39.6 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had six rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 11.

Legend Bey's big game helped extend North Forney's winning streak to four on Friday. Bey was dynamite, rushing for 233 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 110 yards on nine of 13 attempts. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.
It'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons challenges Rockwall-Heath at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Bey up against the Hawks' star quarterback Prosper Neal. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Big Game from Rickert As Rockwall Fell 63-34
Rockwall had to settle for second on Friday, but Brent Rickert sure wasn't going down easily. Rickert was unstoppable, throwing for 394 yards and five touchdowns.
Rockwall's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. Rickert and Rockwall will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Forney at 7:30 p.m. on October 18th.
