There's no place like home for Bunker Hill, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Patton Panthers on Monday, sneaking past 2-1. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Bunker Hill's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kamden Bortz, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Carson Hollar also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The victory got Bunker Hill back to even at 2-2. As for Patton, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bunker Hill will face off against Lincolnton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Bunker Hill has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Patton, they will square off against Mitchell at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
