The Spring-Ford Rams stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 68-18 win over Norristown at home. Given Spring-Ford's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Norristown is ranked 305th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Anna Azzara continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Aaliyah Solliday was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Spring-Ford has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Norristown, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11.
Spring-Ford will be playing in front of their home fans against Phoenixville at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday. Phoenixville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Spring-Ford surely won't give up without a fight. Norristown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
