The Eastlake Titans won the last time they faced the Olympian Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Eastlake came out on top against Olympian by a score of 58-45. Winning is a bit easier when you make 11 more threes than your opponent, as Eastlake did.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eastlake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Helen Rosales, who scored 16 points along with five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rosales has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jada White, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Olympian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Asia Darcuiel. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points along with seven assists and seven steals. Darcuiel is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Lewis, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
The win got Eastlake back to even at 14-14. As for Olympian, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-14.
Eastlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Olympian also has no future games currently scheduled.
