Stagg and Weston Ranch are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Stagg Delta Kings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Weston Ranch Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stagg will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Stagg put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past Edison 50-30. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Stagg has posted since January 2nd.
Jameelah Pharms continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 27 points and ten steals. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last ten times she's played. Kayla Ogle was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 16 rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Weston Ranch scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Linden at home to the tune of 63-30. The win made it back-to-back wins for Weston Ranch.
Stagg's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Weston Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 5-15.
