Porter came into Thursday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Hulbert Riders on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Porter's victory bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Hulbert, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Porter will take on Locust Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hulbert does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
