Bridget Selna was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was her seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Maggie Goldstein, who scored five points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Sacred Heart Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-4-1. As for Sequoia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
Sacred Heart Prep will take on Notre Dame in a holiday battle at TBD on Friday at. Notre Dame's defense has only allowed 25.4 points per game this season, so Sacred Heart Prep's offense will have their work cut out for Sacred Heart Prep. Sequoia will be home for the holidays to greet Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Independence is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
