Calvary Baptist Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 38-25 victory over Blair County Christian.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gabi Dull, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. The contest was Dull's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Snyder, who scored five points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Calvary Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Blair County Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Baptist Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Blair County Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 12, 2024. Blair County Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against DuBois Christian at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th.
