They had to suffer through a rough 42-15 loss at the hands of Calvary Christian Academy. Clearfield Alliance Christian has not had much luck with Calvary Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Calvary Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Macayla Mills out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. Mills is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Anderson, who scored seven points along with nine assists and seven steals.
Clearfield Alliance Christian now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
Clearfield Alliance Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Coventry Christian on January 12th. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bedford County CIA at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
