Last Monday, Bakersfield Christian was fully in charge, breezing past Hanford 73-42 at home. The victory was just what Bakersfield Christian needed coming off of a 76-37 loss in their prior contest.
Bakersfield Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ava King led the charge by dropping a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sara Shein , who scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bullard's good fortune finally ran out last Tuesday. They were outmatched by Clovis West at home and fell 77-29.
The win got Bakersfield Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Bullard, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
Bakersfield Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Bullard when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 75-69 win.
