Comanche came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Eastland Mavericks 69-39. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Mavericks are ranked 745th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Comanche's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Eastland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Comanche will be home for the holidays to greet Early at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Eastland will take on Breckenridge in a holiday battle at at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
