Texas High School Basketball - Comanche triumphant over Eastland
December 13, 2024: Eastland, TX 76448 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Comanche Indians (Comanche, TX) and the host Eastland Mavericks (Eastland, TX), observed Comanche's basketball team overwhelm Eastland by a score of 69-39.
The Indians (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Early (Early, TX). The Longhorns come into the 3A Region I District 8 challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Early trounced Peaster (Peaster, TX), 42-21, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mavericks battle the Breckenridge Buckaroos (Breckenridge, TX) in a 3A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Eastland will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Buckaroos come into the challenge with a 1-15 record after their 55-18 league loss to Tolar (Tolar, TX).
