Brookstone has gone 7-2 against Westfield School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cougars will head out on the road to take on the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Brookstone is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 11 games.
On Tuesday, Brookstone made easy work of Vernon and carried off a 14-5 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Hudson Koon made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other pitching news, Thomas Caves looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Brennan Neal, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Fisher Ogle also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, Westfield School was able to grind out a solid win over Southland Academy on Saturday, taking the game 5-1. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won eight in a row.
Brookstone's record is now 15-3. As for Westfield School, their record now sits at 10-7.
Everything went Brookstone's way against Westfield School when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Brookstone made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
