The Solebury Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 31 points or more this season. They breezed by Villa Victoria Academy at home to the tune of 44-13. The win was just what Solebury needed coming off of a 42-19 defeat in their prior contest.
Leading Solebury to victory were Autumn Turner and Naleli Coplan. Turner scored 17 points, while Coplan scored 22 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Coplan has scored at least 25% of Solebury's points.
Solebury's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Villa Victoria Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Solebury will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on The City School at 4:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
