After only two runs in their last game, St. Bonaventure made sure to put some runs up on the board against Foothill Tech on Tuesday. The Seraphs walked away with a 14-9 win over the Dragons. Winning may never get old, but the Seraphs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
St. Bonaventure got a massive performance out of Wyatt Richardson, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Richardson has posted since back in March. Seamus Sipe was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
St. Bonaventure hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.
St. Bonaventure's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Foothill Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-12.
