Papillion-LaVista never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Lincoln Southeast Knights 15-0. The Monarchs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Papillion-LaVista got a massive performance out of Elli Ridgely, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Ridgely a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Huffman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and four RBI.

Papillion-LaVista was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Papillion-LaVista's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Lincoln Southeast, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Papillion-LaVista will be playing in front of their home fans against Papillion-LaVista South on Tuesday. As for Lincoln Southeast, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-2 loss against Byng on the 5th.
