The Wadley Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Wadley greeted the New Year with with a 59-41 victory over Alabama School for the Deaf. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wadley also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Wadley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tedrick Burns out in front who scored 16 points. The contest was Burns' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Frisco Robertson, who scored nine points along with five steals and four blocks.
Wadley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Alabama School for the Deaf, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wadley will take on Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alabama School for the Deaf, they will head out on the road to face off against Winterboro at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Winterboro will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
