The West Salem Panthers will stay at home for another game and welcome the Caledonia Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard on Thursday.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought contest, but West Salem had to settle for a 64-62 loss against Altoona.
Caledonia has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 29 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Sparta 67-30 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Caledonia who now have three in a row.
West Salem's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-2. As for Caledonia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
