College Park is 1-7 against De La Salle since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Falcons will challenge the Spartans at 1:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Saturday.
College Park is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Casa Grande a 10-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won six games in a row.

The result came thanks to James Voorhies's shutout, as he gave up just five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, College Park let TJ Reinhart and Desmond Cobb run wild. Reinhart went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Cobb got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Davin Koepp was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
College Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Casa Grande only posted a batting average of .200.
Meanwhile, De La Salle faced Foothill in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Falcons. Considering the Spartans have won 17 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Graham Schlicht spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, De La Salle got a massive performance out of Antonio Castro, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-4. Those five RBI gave Castro a new career-high. Niko Baumgartner also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
De La Salle is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for College Park, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-10.
College Park couldn't quite get it done against De La Salle when the teams last played back in April as they fell 5-1. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
