Volleyball Recap: Lemont Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Lemont entered their tilt with Oak Lawn on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lemont HS also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Lemont won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22.

Lemont's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Oak Lawn, their loss dropped their record down to 18-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lemont is set to square off against their familiar foe Thornton Fractional South at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oak Lawn will challenge rival Richards at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
