Basketball Game Preview: Boiling Springs Bubblers vs. Susquehanna Township HANNA

The Boiling Springs Bubblers will face off against the Susquehanna Township HANNA at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Boiling Springs is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, Boiling Springs earned a 43-30 win over Hershey. Given the Bubblers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Trojans are ranked 552nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Boiling Springs' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Molly Kimmel, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds, and Madyson Brownawell, who posted ten points in addition to seven steals and five boards. Brownawell has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 27 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Berrier, who had four points and five assists.

Boiling Springs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in ten consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Susquehanna Township entered their tilt with Bishop McDevitt on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 68-49 victory over the Crusaders.

Boiling Springs pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Susquehanna Township, they are also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Boiling Springs barely slipped by Susquehanna Township when the teams last played back in January, winning 50-49. Will Boiling Springs repeat their success, or does Susquehanna Township have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
