On Tuesday, Central Valley ended up a good deal behind Bear Creek and lost 44-30. Central Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bear Creek found their leader in underclassman Siannah Rios , who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Rios 's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of DJ Jackson , who scored seven points along with nine rebounds.
Central Valley's defeat was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.2 points per game. As for Bear Creek, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Valley and Pacheco will face off at 7:15 p.m. on December 14th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
