After flying high against the San Pedro Pirates last Saturday, the North Saxons came back down to earth. North fell 56-48 to Pleasant Valley on Thursday.
Maddux Wilson was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points for Pleasant Valley. That makes it two consecutive games in which Wilson has scored at least 25% of Pleasant Valley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Gambol, who scored 15 points.
North has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Pleasant Valley, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
North will head out on the road to face off against El Segundo at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pleasant Valley will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Oak Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th.
