Trinity Academy waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the East Aces. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

While Trinity Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: East scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19.

Trinity Academy can attribute much of their success to Ava Deutsch, who had 14 digs.

Trinity Academy's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-17 record this season.

Trinity Academy has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Abilene on the 11th. As for East, they are taking a road trip to challenge Kapaun Mt. Carmel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
