While Warner Robins didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Northeast Raiders on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Demons, who have now won five games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Kameron Lester, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Warner Robins: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Brandon Massie, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Warner Robins always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northeast only posted an OBP of .250.

The victory was the third in a row for Warner Robins, bringing their record for this year to 7-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Northeast, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warner Robins will face off against New Hampstead at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. New Hampstead is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Northeast, they will square off against Dublin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
