The Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 50-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Conwell-Egan Catholic. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Archbishop Ryan in their matchups with Conwell-Egan Catholic: they've now lost five in a row.
Lily Milewski was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and five steals for Conwell-Egan Catholic. Milewski continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Mcfadden, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Archbishop Ryan's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-10. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Ryan will take on Little Flower Catholic for Girls at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, Conwell-Egan Catholic and Neumann-Goretti will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Neumann-Goretti will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
