The Palmdale Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 49-15 loss at the hands of Quartz Hill. Palmdale was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-6.
Leading Quartz Hill to victory were Ashantee Palmer and Mandy Frozina. Palmer scored 13 points along with 8 steals, while Frozina dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Palmer has scored at least 25% of Quartz Hill's points. Another player making a difference was Bella Berg robertson, who scored 8 points.
Palmdale's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Quartz Hill, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmdale won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Palmdale Academy Charter School at 5:00 p.m. on December 1st. As for Quartz Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lancaster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
