The Pacific Bay Christian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took down Kehillah 48-29. Winning may never get old, but Pacific Bay Christian sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Pacific Bay Christian found their leader in underclassman Savanna Munds, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Overton, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks.
Despite the loss, Kehillah still got an impressive performance from Ariella Sheppard, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds. That was a full 86.2% of Kehillah's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Pacific Bay Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Kehillah, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pacific Bay Christian will challenge Design Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Design Tech will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Pacific Bay Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kehillah, they will head out on the road to challenge Summit Shasta at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Summit Shasta is coming into the matchup with seven straight wins at home, so Kehillah is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
