The E EF Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight defeat. They fell to Southwestern Academy 24-19.
It was another big night for Valza Jusufi, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds for Southwestern Academy. Jusufi hasn't dropped below 11 rebounds for 14 straight games. Another player making a difference was Michelle Fakrogha, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
E's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Southwestern Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season.
E will play host again and welcome the Huskies, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rolling Hills Prep presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the EF Academy in California (the Huskies are ranked 314th, while the EF Academy are ranked 1218th). Southwestern Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
