The Pasco Pirates will face off against the Hernando Leopards at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Pasco's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Zephyrhills 11-0. The Pirates have beaten the Bulldogs the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.

Morgan Montelongo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Alexandra Rivera was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Shelby Stevanus was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
Hernando never got on the board in their matchup last Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Central on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over the Bears. With that win, the Leopards brought their scoring average up to 9.2 runs per game.
Hernando got a massive performance out of AMMARAE 'RAE' EASTON, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, two stolen bases, and three runs. Those triples marked the first that EASTON has hit this season. Another player making a difference was ADDISYN SLOCUM, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double.
Hernando always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.
The victory got Hernando back to even at 2-2. As for Pasco, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Pasco has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 12 hits per game. However, it's not like Hernando struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 2.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
