After flying high against Northfield on Saturday, Northridge came back down to earth. The Grizzlies fell 10-5 to the Roosevelt Roughriders on Tuesday. The Grizzlies' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Bo Tellez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Naomi Propes was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Northridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Roosevelt, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Northridge will welcome Greeley West at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Grizzlies will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Roosevelt, they will head out to face off against Wellington at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
