The Frazier Commodores's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bentworth. Frazier was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bentworth apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Aubrie Logan was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 22 points. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amber Sallee, who scored 14 points.
Frazier has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Bentworth, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
Frazier will be playing in front of their home fans against Monessen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Monessen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Saturday. As for Bentworth, they will head out on the road to challenge Southmoreland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southmoreland is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
