Neumann Regional Academy suffered a tough 66-44 defeat at the hands of Montoursville on Thursday. Neumann Regional Academy has struggled against Montoursville recently, as their game on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Neumann Regional Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is GiGi Parlante. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. The match was Parlante's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Shanniyah Tutler, who scored ten points.
Neumann Regional Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Montoursville, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.
Neumann Regional Academy will finish 2023 at home by hosting Northeast Bradford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Montoursville, they will head out on the road to face off against Midd-West at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
