The biggest upset of the week belonged to Northfield, who took down 88th ranked Academy of Holy Angels, 41-9.
Brandon Thies and Garett Glieden provided fans with a highlight when they connected against New Prague. The connection went for 65 yards, the longest such play in Missota this season.
Jake Rhinesmith made the biggest impact on defense this week as Shakopee defeated Farmington. The 5-foot-10 defensive back grabbed 1 interception.
Calvin Buesgens was the best receiver in the league this week as Chaska bested the Trojans. Buesgens racked up 4 receptions for 110 yards. Glieden helped Chaska's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 65 yards.
Chaska's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Hawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Justin Arnold has thrown for 893 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Buesgens has 32 catches for 580 yards.
The Hawks extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating New Prague, 48-14. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
