The Mid Valley Spartans won the last time they faced the Old Forge Blue Devils, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Mid Valley secured a 53-49 W over Old Forge. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mid Valley.
Elise Larson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring ten points along with seven assists and six steals. Her trending in the right direction, as she's improved his point production for three games straight. Chiara Zavislak was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five assists.
Mid Valley's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Old Forge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Mid Valley will be playing at home against Dunmore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dunmore will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Old Forge, they will head out on the road to take on Holy Cross at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Cross comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
