Tri County Area is on a three-game streak of home losses, Lakeview a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Tri County Area Vikings will take on the Lakeview Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Tri County Area focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
Even though Tri County Area has not done well against Morley Stanwood recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way. Tri County Area came out on top against Morley Stanwood by a score of 53-40.
Tri County Area's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Connor Henry, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Rykse, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.
Lakeview suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by White Cloud at home and fell 72-22. Lakeview has struggled against White Cloud recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Tri County Area's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9. As for Lakeview, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
Everything came up roses for Tri County Area against Lakeview when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as the team secured a 70-35 victory. Will Tri County Area repeat their success, or does Lakeview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
