Shane Sliwinski posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 12 batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Sliwinski and Franklin Towne will challenge Father Judge at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
