After two games on the road, Excelsior Charter is heading back home. They will take on the Victor Valley Christian Royals at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Excelsior Charter scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Victor Valley Christian on the road to the tune of 69-18. Excelsior Charter has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.
Excelsior Charter can attribute much of their success to Alexys Gomez, who scored 19 points, and Jazynda Juneau, who scored 24 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Juneau has scored at least a third of Excelsior Charter's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joaneliz Miranda, who scored eight points.
Excelsior Charter pushed their record up to 9-5 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Victor Valley Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
