The Line Mountain Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 49-31 fall against Upper Dauphin Area. While losing is never fun, Line Mountain can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 583rd, while the Trojans are ranked 198th).
It was another big night for Kasey Weibley, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds for Upper Dauphin Area. Reagan Wentzel was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Line Mountain has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Upper Dauphin Area, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Line Mountain will take on the Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Upper Dauphin Area, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the WolfPack at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
