Adrian will challenge New Ulm Cathedral on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Adrian have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.
Adrian had a rough outing against Springfield two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Adrian came out on top against Sleepy Eye by a score of 23-14 last Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Adrian as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, New Ulm Cathedral came up short against Murray County Central, falling 20-34.
Adrian suffered a grim 7-40 defeat to New Ulm Cathedral the last time the two teams met. The defeat knocked Adrian out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at New Ulm Cathedral with a vengeful fire.
