Groves had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They never let the Beach Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by ten runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Jason Litten, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Makel Brown, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Groves always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .577. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .543 or higher in three consecutive games.

Groves' win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Beach, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Groves will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
