In what's become a running theme this season, the Ponderosa Bruins gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 56-15 victory over Nevada Union at home. The win was nothing new for Ponderosa as they're now sitting on six straight.
Ponderosa was led to victory by Casey Dreiling and Brooklynn Nordquist. Dreiling scored 12 points along with six steals, while Nordquist scored 15 points along with three steals. Nordquist is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played. Sammie Porter was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Ponderosa is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Nevada Union, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.
