Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beverly Hills). Everything went their way against the Centennial Apaches on Thursday as they made off with a 24-2 win. Considering the Normans have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Cameron Park made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Park was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three runs and two RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three).
In other batting news, Jayden Ibarra was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. He has become a key player for Beverly Hills: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-11-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Emet Polack, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
