Nipomo's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Orcutt Academy with a sharp 16-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their one-run performance the match before.
Travis Barr was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Silveira, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday Santa Maria's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Santa Ynez. The two-run effort marked the Saints' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Nipomo has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .442. However, it's not like Santa Maria struggles in that department as they've averaged .493. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
