South Philadelphia scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They skirted past Sayre 45-42.
India Brooks and Halimah Blackwell were among the main playmakers for South Philadelphia as the former scored 13 points and the latter scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Blackwell has scored all season.
Kensington proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 26) but on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They didn't even let Overbrook onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Kensington has scored all year.
South Philadelphia pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Kensington, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.
