The Kennedy Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Petaluma Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Thursday, Kennedy kept a clean sheet against Irvington. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over the Vikings. Given Kennedy's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while Irvington is ranked 979th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kennedy hit Irvington with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Jazell Jweinat (2),
Danica Harper (2),
Amanda Kim, and
Jade Rodriguez Gonzalez.
Meanwhile, Petaluma got the win against Sonoma Valley on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.
Kennedy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-4-3 record this season. As for Petaluma, their win bumped their record up to 10-7-1.
Kennedy skirted past Petaluma 1-0 when the teams last played back in February of 2018. Does Kennedy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Petaluma turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
