Carson was the  6-1 winner over Wiseburn- Da Vinci when they last played one another  back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Carson got a good showing from  Andruw Jacques, who   didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over four innings pitched. What's more,  Jacques posted four  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024.
 On the hitting side,  Nate Ruan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. He also  brought in an  RBI, marking his first of the season.  Kris Sinclair was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with one  home run and four  RBI.
Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they picked up their first road  win, bumping their record up to 4-2.
 Coming up, Carson will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against South  at 10:00  a.m. Carson has given up an average of 6.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they will face off against Lawndale at 3:15  p.m.  on March 6th. Wiseburn- Da Vinci is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.3  runs per game  this season.
