Los Molinos extended their postseason success on Saturday against Maxwell. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Panthers. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Harrison Hamre made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Hamre wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Dakota DeMarco, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
