Newark Charter School extended their winning streak to seven on Tuesday, bumping them up to 14-4. They blew past the Sanford Warriors 10-1. The Newark Charter have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.
Doron Griffin made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk). Newark Charter School kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
