The Hilmar Yellowjackets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-45 victory over Millennium. For Hilmar, this counts as revenge for the 41-36 defeat Millennium walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Alicia Souza was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The match was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Gomes, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Hilmar's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-3. As for Millennium, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4.
